The park sits at an average altitude of 1,000 to 1,200 meters. This elevation creates dramatic drops ranging from 250 to 1,000 meters down into the canyon.

Visiting these areas requires navigating gravel roads and short hiking paths. The best months for clear visibility and safe trail access are May through October.
